We had a blast at Donor Appreciation Day at the Food Bank: together with the other donors, Team GoodSteps helped sort 17,172 pounds of product, which equates to about 13,170 meals!

To celebrate Giving Tuesday, we are doubling your impact! For all orders received today through the end of December:    1 pair of flip flops = 96 meals OR 26 days Since our official launch in August 2016, we have provided the funding to cover: 43,700 meals to hungry families and struggling seniors throughout Georgia via the Atlanta Community Food Bank; AND 5,610 days worth of nutritional packets to severely malnourished children around the world, or enough to save 100 CHILDREN from severe acute malnutrition via MANA Nutrition. On this World Food Day, MANA has gifted us with pictures from Selian Lutheran Hospital in Tanzania, where our customer-directed donation provided 5,012 RUTF packets to this sweet boy and many other hungry children. Thank you for continuing to shop On Purpose to end hunger!

It is hard to believe but today is our 1st birthday! In just one year we have been able to give enough for MANA Nutrition to provide the nutritional packets to save 91 CHILDREN from severe acute malnutrition and Atlanta Community Food Bank to provide 42,301 meals to those in need. It is one of our four favorite times of the year: quarterly check writing day!Our second quarter check will allow MANA to provide 600 days worth of nutritional packets to severely malnourished children around the world. A severely malnourished child needs to eat 3 nutritional packets a day for up to 56 days, meaning together we provided the funding to save 10 CHILDREN from severe acute malnutrition this quarter!  Our second quarter check will enable ACFB to provide 1,682 meals to hungry children, hardworking families and struggling seniors throughout Georgia.  Thank you so much for your support, for directing these dollars to our partners and for helping us #takegoodsteps!
